Who is city life?
CityLife is a vibrant, Christ-centered church based in Durban, South Africa. Our heartbeat is to know Jesus and make Him known. Everything we do flows from His calling.
We believe church is more than a Sunday gathering, it’s a family where people from all walks of life come together to worship God, grow in His Word, and encourage one another in faith.

Church Life
Kids Ministry
CityLife Church has a super interactive Kids Ministry programme for kids ages 3-12 years old, which runs through the school term during our Sunday Celebration Meeting.
Our lessons aim to teach kids about Jesus through discussions, games and exciting activities that help them grow in their relationships with God.
Prayer Meeting
As a Church family, Prayer is one of our important values.
Besides practicing personal prayer, we gather twice a month on a Tuesday 7pm to pray together.
CityLife Youth
For our terrific teens, we have Citylife Youth, a Saturday night meeting where they can learn more about God together and grow their relationship with Him.
We emphasize the importance of dealing with situations in a Godly way through open discussions, as well as developing leadership skills so that they can reflect Jesus as they begin their journey to adulthood.
Apostolic Trips
CityLife Church partners with New Covenant Ministries International, which is an Ephesians 4 gifted translocal team.
Our partnership centers around “The Great Commission” Jesus gave all churches, which is to go and make disciples of all nations and teaching them to obey all he commanded us in the scriptures.
Community Outreach
CityLife Church regularly takes part in community outreaches. On Wednesdays we partner with Lungisani Indelela in their literacy program working with children in Inanda and Amoti to teach children to read and write.
Social Link Connect Groups
Learning and growing outside of Sunday Meetings is part of our culture at Citylife.
Many are involved in smaller groups that meet scattered throughout the week around different purposes. Besides music, youth, prayer, there are those who simply meet around relationships and spiritual growth.
